Welcome to The Jefferson Guest House, a spacious four-bedroom, 4.5-bath home set on the grounds of The Jefferson overlooking the lake. With room for up to 10 guests in seven beds, it’s a comfortable home base for wedding weekends, football weekends, family gatherings, or a getaway with friends.

Each bedroom has a private ensuite bathroom, with an additional powder room off the Great Room. The home is designed with plenty of space to spend time together, from watching the game on two side-by-side televisions to sharing a meal, gathering around the fire pit, or enjoying the lake view from the covered porch.

The Guest House also offers convenient amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, ample private parking, and an ADA-accessible main living area with a ramp into the house. Located just a five-mile drive from Oxford’s historic Square, it offers the space and privacy of a home while keeping you close to everything Oxford has to offer.

For wedding weekends, the Guest House can be more than a place to stay. It can serve as a gathering spot for a bridal luncheon or a comfortable place for the bridal party to relax and get ready on wedding morning, with plenty of room for hair and makeup. The flexible space also works well for business lunches and retreats, baby showers, gender reveals, holiday gatherings, and Thanksgiving with family and friends.

While The Jefferson venue was under construction, the original landowner’s farmhouse was moved from the front of the property to a site across from the expanded lake. Beginning in 2023, the inside was completed gutted, walls moved, the ceiling vaulted, and the house transformed into a charming 4 bedroom / 4.5 bath guest house with a large gathering room, covered porch overlooking the lake and venue, and a patio with a firepit.

“We were blown away by the house and all of its accommodations. While Oxford has so much to offer, we found ourselves wanting to stay put at the house. Between outdoor space, the fire pit and large living room with 2 TVs, we were so delighted. It was obvious a lot of effort went into planning and caring for this house. From the decor to the amenities everything was well appointed. We had plenty of space to spread out and each room has its own bathroom, which makes getting ready a breeze. We had an incredible trip to Oxford, due mostly to our stay at the house. We look forward to returning soon.”

Available for 4 to 8 hour rentals for bridal showers and luncheons, baby reveal parties, family holiday dinners. Bedrooms are locked out during these rentals.
