Consider an engagement or bridal session. If you've booked your wedding at The Jefferson, you can schedule an engagement or bridal session on the property too. It's a great way to scout locations, try out spots, and create lovely pre-wedding photos before the big day.
Build your shot list. Make a list of the spots you'd like photos at, like the lakefront walkway, the rustic barn, or the covered porch.
Time it with the light. Late afternoon brings soft, warm light across the lake and grounds. Google the sunset time for Oxford, MS on your wedding date, and if you want sunset photos, make sure that time is built into your wedding planner's timeline.
